Website accounts and service emails

Authentication processes your email address and stores the Supabase session in browser storage so that you remain signed in. Account profiles and usage records are processed to provide licenses, subscriptions and cloud-minute balances. Resend receives your email address only to deliver authentication codes and essential service messages. Resend processes email-delivery data in the USA using Standard Contractual Clauses as the transfer safeguard.

Payments and service providers

Stripe processes checkout and payment data as our payment provider. Supabase provides authentication and account data storage. In local mode, audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded. When you choose cloud transcription, the audio file and optional language hint are sent to Ark Labs (Ark Sp. z o.o., Szczecin, Poland) for transcription. Ark Labs acts as a processor and states that inference runs in EU facilities with zero retention by default: request audio and output are deleted after inference and are not reused for training. Its published policy notes that temporary technical caching may occur and that any transfer outside the EEA must use an EU-recognised safeguard such as an adequacy basis or current Standard Contractual Clauses.

Purposes and legal basis

We process account, entitlement and payment data to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), retain required billing records to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), and protect the service against abuse based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

Retention and your rights

Account data is retained while the account is active; payment records may be retained for statutory periods. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Tracking and browser storage

This site currently uses no analytics, advertising pixels, optional third-party embeds, or non-essential browser storage. Optional tracking is disabled. Essential authentication session storage is used only after account sign-in.

Before any future optional tracking can start, the site will ask for an explicit choice for each purpose. That consent surface will give Accept and Reject actions equal prominence. You will be able to withdraw consent later from the same privacy settings, which will stop the optional tracking.
